Mel Siebe moved to the Palouse in 1976 to obtain her master's degree. Once completed, she was hired at Moscow High School to teach art, and refers to it as "the perfect job". Now retired after 30 years, her main focus revolves around her paintings and mixed media works, writing, travel, outdoor activities, friends and family.
