The "Artisans' Cookbook ~ a palette of favorite recipes" is available now, one of the Barn's creative fund raising projects. More than 300 recipes were contributed by the resident artisans, members of the Barn's board of directors and friends of the Barn. The book is dedicated to Steve and Junette Dahmen who donated the barn to the community, and the cover features a beautiful watercolor painting of the barn done by Junette. More than a cookbook, special pages and photographs include the story of the barn and an introduction to the artists in each studio. Uniontown's German heritage as well as the crops grown locally on the Palouse - peas, lentils, barley and wheat - inspired the Regional Favorites section.
The cookbook is $17.95, plus tax and shipping as applicable. We are happy to mail the book.
