Now available, The Artisans’ Cookbook ~ A Palette of Favorite Recipes is a unique fundraising project created by the Barn. This collection includes over 300 recipes contributed by resident artisans, board members, and friends of the Barn. Dedicated to Steve and Junette Dahmen, who generously donated the barn to the community, the cover showcases a beautiful watercolor painting of the barn by Junette herself. This cookbook offers more than recipes, featuring special pages and photographs that tell the story of the Barn and introduce the artists in each studio. Inspired by Uniontown’s German heritage and the locally grown crops of the Palouse—peas, lentils, barley, and wheat—the “Regional Favorites” section highlights the area’s culinary traditions.
