Belinda will show how to set up and register multilple stencils to create a series of layered prints we will print a variety of colors .
You will learn how to apply paint to the gel plate to pull successful prints. How to build layers for extra interest and different ways to create textures using stencils.
Instruction by Resident Artist Belinda Rhodes
No experience necessary, just curiosity and enthusiasm.

Celebrate Local Art, Local Food, and Music at the Dahmen Barn Fall Fundraiser
Celebrating 20 Years
Uniontown, WA — Join the Artisan Barn on October 17th, 5:30-8:30 pm for a taste of Fall Tickets are $50 The artisan barn presents a taste of Fall fundraiser Celebrating 20 years. The Dahmen Barn invites the community to a vibrant fall celebration showcasing the best of local artistry, regional flavors, and music. This annual fundraiser supports operating & programing cost for the Dahmen Barn, a creative cornerstone of the Palouse for the past 20 years.
Guests will enjoy an exceptional tasting experience featuring:
- Beef & lamb sliders crafted by Chef Aaron Little
- Roasted vegetables with Zacca hummus
- Local cheeses and decadent desserts
- Savory small bites
- A signature Thai dish prepared by The Bollinger’s
- Local wine & beer, plus the chance to meet the winemakers
The evening also includes a Silent Auction and a lively Dollar Auction featuring artisan‑painted pumpkins — a seasonal favorite. Junette’s art will be available for purchase, offering guests a chance to take home a piece of local creativity.
Music for the event will be spun directly from Junette Dahmen’s personal record collection, adding a nostalgic and uniquely Barn‑style soundtrack to the night.
Ceramic Classes
Register By: 48 hours in advance
Take classes in any order—consecutive or à la carte. Our fully equipped studio offers classes at all levels in wheel throwing, hand building, decorating, sculpture, glazing, and tile/mosaic work. Each class covers both wheel throwing and hand building techniques. We keep class sizes small to ensure individualized attention while benefiting from the group setting. We encourage a mix of interests in each class, providing students with a broader understanding of the wide range of possibilities clay has to offer. Whether you’re a total beginner or an experienced student, our Wheel and Hand Building classes are designed for you.
Currently the children ceramic class is one Wednesday afternoons, this my change in October.
You can register at any time during the session. All class fees must be paid upon registration. The fee includes glazes, 25 lbs of clay, use of studio tools, and firing. For any questions about fees, contact info@artisanbarn.org. A portion of each registration supports children’s ceramics classes, with the remainder covering supplies and instructor fees.
