Nature Takes Center Stage at Dahmen Barn as Fred & Linda Gregory Unveil New Work
This October, Artisans at the Dahmen Barn invites visitors into a world shaped by Idaho’s wild beauty. From October 1–25, Orofino artists Fred and Linda Gregory will fill the gallery with paintings, ceramics, and imaginative creations rooted in the landscapes they call home. A festive opening reception welcomes guests on Sunday, October 4, 1–3 p.m.
Fred’s oil paintings capture the spirit of the Clearwater region, and his newest medium — oil on travertine tile — transforms natural stone into textured, luminous works of art. Alongside his paintings, Fred’s playful clocks built from old timepieces and found objects add a touch of whimsy.
Linda’s ceramics, both functional and decorative, showcase her meticulous craftsmanship. Many pieces feature intricate hand‑painted designs, making each work a one‑of‑a‑kind blend of artistry and everyday usefulness.
