Quilting art is my passion. I create unique, original designs inspired by nature, color, fabric, and the images that “appear” through paints and thread work.

I began quilting with traditional patterns and techniques, but soon envisioned going beyond the flat surface. This led me to explore three-dimensional elements, manipulating fabrics, yarn, beads, threads, and silk florals to add unique textures to my work.

I typically start a piece with a mental image—no drafting—just laying out elements and letting the creation unfold. My favorite themes are floral or landscape quilts, though recently, I’ve been developing more collage and abstract creations.
