Judy Fairley
Judy Fairley, a well-known artist from Clarkston, WA, brings a wealth of experience to her art and teaching. She currently teaches pastel at Walla Walla Community College and has participated in prestigious shows across the U.S. and Canada. In November 2006, her work was displayed at the Chicago Institute of Art.
A signature member of the National Scratchboard Association and Women Artists of the West, Judy has been affiliated with WAOW for over 46 years. She’s also been an active member of the Valley Art Center in Clarkston for over 47 years. Growing up on her family’s horse and cattle ranch with her twin sister, Judy’s early experiences continue to inspire her work.
Judy has served as Vice President of Women Artists of the West (2021–2023) and is an advisory board member of the Fred Oldfield Show in Puyallup, WA. She is also an artist-in-residence at the Dahmen Artisan Barn in Uniontown, WA.
