my process for Stable Composition
The look of this composition is very graphic. I challenged myself to work in a limited color palette, to keep the contrast strong. Each shape is forceful on it’s own, and yet they all play well together. I am craving stability in all things, and my art as well. I need a concrete footing, a sturdy place to create from. But I do also need steady forward movement.
